I woke up this morning quite early actually, got on with some stuff that needed doing before mum came into wake me up, to find me already woken up :3 BUT, that's not the point. :P
I did however text a few people to organise this afternoon, and after watching another episode of Downton Abbey (yes, I know...) I headed out to meet up with peeps before heading down to Dinton Pastures.
Upon arrival, of course, the rain started. Aha. But of course. BUT. With a rug, umbrella and a punnet of strawberries in tow, we had such a wonderful afternoon just gossiping and talking and having a good ol' chinwag with each other, and yes. 'Twas noms. :)
HOWEVER! I got home, and found out that Reading lost in the Championship play-off 4-2, which, is a little bit rubbish for the 'Royals' (I know, check me out, knowing all my football jargon!) but, here's to next season anyway.
Currently, my other PC is running the render of the short-film which will hopefully be on YouTube by tomorrow, if not tonight, so Y'ALL BEST KEEP A LOOK OUT FOR THAT! And of course, if you missed it, here was the second teaser trailer.. :)
I promise, I am going to get it out there as soon as I can.. but. Having a few problems with gigs of video trying to render at once. :P
ANYWAY. I'm a little worried/nervous/excited about tomorrow. But, we shall see. And yess.
RAWR. Being 'in like'. ;D
I nearly types 'ciao' as I normally do, but, as I went to do it, all I could do was remember the 'ciao Janet' from the Birdseye adverts... as you do :)
I realise that this post has been rather sporadic and random and a little bit smiley-hyper, but. I'm in a good mood, blogosphere. I'm in a good mood. :)
I had a rather wonderful evening last night. Like. It was one of those evenings that just went swimmingly, and there was the right balance of conversation and taking the piss. So, thank you to all those who attended!
AS FOR TODAY! I was awake quite early for some reason, considering I had a relatively late night, but, I was up and watching Dr Who downstairs from last night, and MY OH MY. What a mindfuck that turned out to be!
Anyway, it was about then I decided it would be good fun to make a short film today :) Quite random, I know. Not the sort of idea that comes across everyone's mind. BUT. I sat down, figured out shots I needed, and along with my brother Matthew, Sophie and William in tow, we're out to film it this evening, which is really rather exciting, and you can expect to see it on YouTube fairly soon I hope :D
Congratulations to my cousin Neil and his wife Karen, who's new baby twins were introduced to the world earlier today, and my oh my, they are THE sweetest things ever. <3
I have a few plans lined up, and it's all getting rather exciting, I have to say. So, I'll leave you there, and. Check back soon :)
Facebook groups make me laugh, but, they do, on the odd occasion, make me cringe in such a shudder-y way, and, such a prime example of a group, probably created by a pathetic year 8 girl who thinks she's all cool, would be this:
Girl: Do you really love me?
Boy: Of course I do.
Girl: I wanna hear you say it.
Boy: I don't have to.
Girl: Why not
Girl: I just wanna hear you say it in words.
Boy: I can't.
The girl started to cry softly and said:
Then you don"t love me.
The 2 continued to walk in silence. They
reached the girls home.
Boy: Do you really wanna know
Girl: (hesitantly) Yes.
He hugged her gently, kissed the tip of her nose
and whispered in her ear.
"Because three words aren't enough..."
Excuse me while I vomit.
WHAT THE HELL!? This is desperate, and cling-y and childish and just eughh. Couples like this need shooting. This isn't romantic. This is like. I don't even know. Well, maybe it's just me, I don't even know, maybe this IS romantic?! Maybe it's just me being a silly bastard, but, if this happened to me, and I had someone say: "Because three words aren't enough..." - I'd turn round and fucking deck them; tell'em to get a grip.
And that's not even it on the Facebook front, these groups just go on and on in a dull monotony that represents what's so terribly melodramatic about our generation. I hate the Facebook groups which make all of us seem to act like plebs and toddlers.
FAILING A TEST
Age 8: *cries*
Age 10: I'm going to need a tutor :(
Age 12: My mom's going to kill me!!
Age 14: whatever stuff that.
Age 16: WHO ELSE FAILED THE TEST?! High five's all classmates :)
AHHAHAHA! FUNNY BASTARD!
I also hate the: "Like if you're the 0.0000000001% of the population who would be better than the rest of the fucking planet because you're that good a person!"
"A boy was almost beaten to death on his way to school, he was forced to strip all his clothes off, then they stole his phone and started to kick and punch him in the head before setting a dog on him.
The sad thing is that 97% of people would just walk past, 2% would stand and watch, only 1% would try and help out. No one tried to help david out.
Like this if your the 1% that would help."
And these real stories are such crap. God. Like: "The next day, after saying something which you'll go and Google translate, he had a knife in his chest."
Oh fuck. OFF. :|
The world can't end in 2012, I have a yogurt that expires in 2013.
Yoghurt doesn't last that long.. surely?
Dear boys,We love your feminine side,We love it when you tell us we are beautiful,We love it when you text us non-stop,We love it when you kiss our foreheads,We love it when you introduce us to your friends and we love it when you kiss up in front of them. From the girls.
Oh. Grow a pair. Heavens sake.
In future, creators of Facebook groups, whoever you are.
I don't care if your periods hurt, I don't care if you can't find a perfect guy, I don't care if you respect Justin Bieber, I don't care if you're LOL JK-ing, I don't care if you there's an awkward moment and by FUCK. I am not gonna like your page because "I get it!" or "If you've ever eaten all the popcorn before the movie starts! LOLOLOLOLOL :D :D :D :D :D"
There's also the first video of my new kinda rebrand of YouTube videos, which is just quite short and simple, take a look by following - >This Link < -
I know, I know, it's been a while, and yes, you can all shout and leave abusive comments, but, I'm back.
However, with my return, marks the disappearance of all my YouTube videos! I know, please don't get TOO upset (!) - but, I do plan to make a whole new interesting series of videos with people from across the globe as well, so. Y'know. Bigger and Better things? :)
I did also get a few questions as to why they've gone and disappeared.. Well. Obviously, there were some controversial things that I said, and I suppose more karma than anything else for me, people picked up on what I had said, and it made its way across Facebook, along with a few... derogatory comments. So, as a matter of.. well. I don't know. Trying to keep what I had left of my online presence together, I took them down. Of course, if any of you are that desperate for them, I still have the originals, but. I think I'm going to shelve them, archive them and move on.
But, this isn't my YouTube blog, this is my life blog, and that's probably what you came here to read about! And, hey. EXAMS ARE DONE MOTHERFUCKERS!!
I'm pleased. I hate exams! They finished yesterday, and yeahh. They didn't go too badly I don't think, so, all is well on that front. BUT. Hello 2 weeks off and hello nice times with people! AND. Talking of people, I suppose I have a few thank-yous to issue from the last week or so, SO. Thank You! For coming back and reading this rubbish. Thank you to all my lovely Twitter followers, for putting up with all the absolute twaddle I write on there! Thank You to everyone in school who's been fab with everything, so that's Will, Harry, Steve, Nick, Josh, Ed, Paul, Ujj, Luke, Robert, Matthew, Josh again and like. EVERYONE! There are so many people I haven't mentioned like Jesus Christ, ALL my teachers for putting up with me (and my classmates for putting up with some of my teachers...), and then everyone OUT of school too, whoever has wished me luck in these exams, so: Saskia, Sam, Robyn, Beckie, Megan, Richard, Dan, Anna, Reece, Brad, Diane, Alan, Tom, Sarah, Phoebe, the list is just ENDLESS! Thank you to ALL of them. AND! Thank You to all my YouTube subscribers and people I know from other places, so, Emay, Nat, Seb, Peter, and the rest of you, thank you for keeping me topped up with YouTube videos!
Rawr. ;D - For my Dinorawrus.
Thank you to my family for putting up with my stress moments, complaints about exams, and for feeding me and paying for me!
THANK YOU TO DANIEL AND HIS FAMILY for taking me to London to see Mamma Mia, had an unreal time, on my feet going mental singing my heart out, and don't worry Weeden family, there's a lemon meringue pie in the oven! ;D
ERM. Ooh what else. Theatre rehearsals are coming along nicely, and if anybody wants to see me talk in a faux-cockney accent, BOOK TICKETS NOW! >Link<
*tries to remember what else has happened in the last fortnight*
OH! GaGa has released her new album, and my, what an eargasm it is! <3 I LOVE IT.
My driving test is within the coming week, so. FINGERS CROSSED FOR ME PLEASE?!
I struggle to believe how long I've kept this up tbh. What's more incredible is that people still read this! :L
Heyho readers, Comment ça va?
Today, I had a lie in. Well, kinda. I was still up earlier than I would have wanted to have been!
I got into school at break, and had a gossip quickly to William about the credit of Jedi as a religion. Alas, we couldn't really form a substantial argument :p
I then had history, going through mocks, and Will then drew a penis on my hand. -_- Instead of crossing it off though, I decided to make it into a face. The face of a moose. This didn't go unnoticed this afternoon though as Nick had the bright idea to highlight the penis on my hand, and the car-crash of an illustration now looks like this:
Incredible, I know. How can I be that tanned in May?!
Alas, no. Moose, Penis, Face. Indeed.
I have rehearsals this evening as well as mock in Mechanics tomorrow to revise for, so this is all a little.... DISCOMBOBULATED. I also had English today, where we studied such a beautiful poem:
Well I do not love to ramble around. No I don’t , I don’t. And if that makes me a home loving man, Then I am. I am. For I end up in a circular path, On a pilgrimage leading straight back. To where I know that I’ll drop my guitar. I’ll abandon my car on the highway, Don’t send me away. Don’t send me upon this wild goose chase For freedom. For money. For love. From Portland west to Portland east Yes indeed, oh indeed. Albuquerque and Montreal And that’s not all, that’s not all. Cleveland Tucson and buffalo Oh no, oh no. San Francisco and Chicago Oh no, oh no. For I end up in a circular path, On a pilgrimage leading straight back. To where I know that I’ll drop my guitar. I’ll abandon my car on the highway, Don’t send me away. Don’t send me upon this wild goose chase For freedom. For money. For love. And I do not love to ramble around No I don’t, I don’t.
Well good evening everyone! How are we? Personally, I have a headache.
I don't really have much to talk about today, so instead I'll address an interesting question, one of which has been asked many a time, and probably one that everyone has thought about at some point. Well, I don't know that, I just presume people have, because I have a few times.
'Would you rather be rich or famous?'
- The initial response of course would probably be both! But I suppose you can't have everything, and I suppose I'd rather have one of them than neither.
- I think my answer would have to be rich. One can be famous for all the wrong reasons, such as Joseph Fritzl! Then again, one much decipher the difference between fame and infamy. Would one describe Fritzl, Hitler, Bin Laden as FAMOUS, of infamous? It's an interesting question.
- You can of course be rich and not famous, though get rich through fame also.
Either way; Rich. I'd much rather be able to enjoy a materialistic life than one with no privacy.
Maybe just me. I dunno.
Thanks to everyone's comments and responses from the last couple of responses, and it's really exciting that we're nearing 20,000 views! Thank You for your continued support and readership-ness. :D
OH, and also, I'm so excited that I got a hit from Google from someone searching 'Gareth Malone'! :)
I had such an incredible response from last night's post again! So thank you to everyone who came and read it last night, and if you missed the post yourself, you can read it here.
On a more this-evening-y post, it was back to school day, oh what fun we have. No, but everything kinda went badly in my maths mock but law this afternoon was good :P
OH! I was just reading through @Holstersss tumblr, which you can go to here: LINK - AND WHAT SHOULD I COME ACROSS RANDOMLY, but a screenshot of one of my Tweets, the post of which can be seen here: LINK - and this made me like. OOHMYGOSH! That's pretty epic! :)
Question is, ARE YOU ON TWITTER YET?! I recommend you sign up. After you've got some followers and you're following loads of random people, it's GREAT fun! I've met loads'a new people on there, and these people are my internet friends! Also, Twitter followers make up a fair portion of my readership!
I'm off out this evening to the fist readthrough of the End-of-Season Play at the theatre this summer, so that should be good fun, and I think on that, I shall bid you all a happy Tuesday, Post a link to my Twitter - @LifeBlogLife (where coincidentally I've got a new photo :P) and yes!
So, I'll try and make this one a little more. Worthwhile.
It would appear that Osama Bin Laden has been killed. If it's true, then I believe this is truly a moment of jubilation for the Western world, indeed for the rest of the world. Unfortunately of course, we must remember that there are hundreds there to fill Bin Laden's place and thousands more who wish to avenge his death. Though we can sigh with relief, under the instruction & advice from our governments, and indeed those the world over, we must remain vigilant AND careful.
So, that's my take on it! I'm a little dubious though over the situation.. is it all a little too... sudden? Authorities weren't told but more importantly.. Bin Laden was found in a massive mansion, seemingly impenetrable and yards away from a military base and NO questions were asked?! The US disposed of the body before anything was announced, the only word we have that there was a DNA test was from US officials, and, well. I know this is a playground for conspiracy theorists, so I'll leave everyone to make up their own minds!
Now, before I offer my advice on more things, I should probably tell you about my day. Revision.
Ok, that's done, moving on!
I came across this article earlier, and, for those of you who want to read it, you can do here: > Link <
Basically, there was a report published (which the Conservative would appear to support) which would basically ban all gay/lesbian/same-sex 'embraces' pre-watershed (9pm).
Now, erm. I still consider myself a Tory, but, wtf?
The report seems to suggest that embraces such as kissing between two members of the same sex would 'prematurely sexualise children' - clearly in comparison with a heterosexual kiss..? My instant reaction to this was complete and utter disgust that such a thing would even be recommended or considered by the government. There is a clear and obvious prejudice shown here, and shown towards a totally innocent and pre-victimised group of society. Even that phrase annoys me, why should the LGBT community be a separate group from society?! Maybe it's just me that can't understand?! But there is NO legitimate reason I can begin to imagine as to WHY people are any different simply because of sexuality.
If the government were to explore this further, even without the implication, it would reveal a totally backward and disconnected Parliament whose members had NO right on a basic human level to represent us as a community and as a society of the 21st century. Not only would this put me off voting Conservative, but from voting for Parliament altogether. It's disgraceful, absolutely sickening. I've spoken before about gay rights (Day 221, Day 116) and I stand by all I have said.
Indeed, as I said in a previous post, I don't believe in gay rights. I believe in human rights.
And on that, I hope you've all had a nice Monday, and I'll be back again tomorrow!
Got up, revised, lunched, went to Sam's and had a LOVELY afternoon with cooking and eating and Come Dine With Me and it was so lovely to see her again <3 - and then saw Ben this evening, which was piano-ing and singing and helping my alcoholic brother in and settling him down and then going for a nice walk and talking about everything and people and ararar.
